PROJECT 2B : NATURAL STRUCTURE ( SPACE & DEPTH )

For this task , we were required to produce a geometrical shape design based an othe natural structure. At first  i thought * what was that means? -.-" . haha.

But later on , I asked my friends about it , and did some research on it and I finally gets it.

I straight away thought about peacock  beacuse of the colourful feather and its beauty of texture. I changed it into geometrical shape to fit the requirements. 

We were also required to colour the patterns using the basic colour tone . ookay , basic colour tone. BLUE , RED and YELLOW is all i can think of. So , i only used these three basic colour in my drawing . On the submission day , I saw other students apply a lot of colours , playing with tones , shading , etc. and I was like * why didn't I think of it ? I am sooo narrow minded . ishhh ! benci ! hahaha.

So for this task I was a lil bit unhappy because I didn't try to understand the requirements carefully. But it was fun  though :)

MAN-MADE STRUCTURE ( FORM&STRUCTURE )

 A structure is a body or assemblage of bodies in space to form a system capable of supporting loads. Built structures are composed of structural elements such as columns, beams and trusses. 

By the time  Mr.Ar.Najib gave this task , i was pretty shocked yet excited. confusing , huh ?haha. But I take it as a challenge and DO my very best to produce the best sketches among other student *it might not be THE best but it is MY  best . Maybe my sketches isn't in the standard level but I am so proud that I've produced it.

I chose the studio in HBP. It is not full building of stuido but just some part of it. In this task , we need to apply some shading and lighting technique just by using pencil . The moment i took this photograph , the glare falls into the right places which  was the main factor on why I chose this spot. To create the shading , I used the cross-hatching technique.

Hello ! :)

When it comes to talking about myself , i get a lil bit blank and have no idea what to say but since this is a TASK were given , i guess i'll just tell you a bit about me. 

My name is NUR NABILA BINTI MOHD RAZALI. I will soon be 19 on 13th Nov 2011 :) . I grew up in Selayang Indah , Selangor. I'm the youngest among my three siblings , lucky ain't I ? haha. But sometimes it gets really sad when no one wants to play with me :( 

I am soooooo not good in making friends. It is not that I'm a snob or something. It's just that I don"t really know how to start a conversation . this is soo uncool of me , haha. For those who knows me , you can just say "hey" , invite me for lunch , or whatsoever . I won't bite ! haha . okay enough of this :p

Next point is , I'VE GOT NO BASIC IN ANYTHING REGARDING THIS FIELD . I didn't took 

LK (  LUKISAN KEJURUTERAAN ) , PENDIDIKAN SENI VISUAL . none ! I studied ACCOUNTING back then , but now i pursue ARCHITECTURE because of my interest in it. For me , it is a very challenging course but still i want to prove myself that it is not impossible to do something that i don't know about *well, it's not that i know nothing about architecture.I've done a lil bit research on it. I find it very fascinating and it would be great if I could build something that will benefit for us in future and the next generation. Actually, I was a bit scared when the first time I entered the lecture hall beacuse everyone seems so professional and knows what they're doing. While I look like a school kid enter the wrong classroom ! haha. But still , I'll TRY and DO at my very best to adapt in the situation , catch up in every subject that I take , be a PROFFESIONAL architecture student . Wish me luck ;)

PROJECT 1A : MY LINK (LINE AND SHAPE )

WHAT IS LOGO ?  Logo is a graphic mark or emblem that represents one individu or a company. 

honestly , it took me  more than 2 days to figure out what will my logo be.  i thought about everything in my surrounding  including sand just to create the idea of my logo. As Dr.Mazran Ismail said " we are here to guide you to be a professional architecture" , so , i've decided to create something "professional",  3D look  logo and apply some shading and lighting . * i'm not sure if i done it ( shading and lighting ) correctly :p *

I used my name to create this logo . The letter N represents for NABILA while the letter R represents for RAZALI. Each bubbles will represents my work along my journey in this field. I know bubbles is a lil bit childish , no ? but  those ''bubbles'' will be nominated and NR will be known and suceed one day :)
